Call for Volunteers:

(Upcoming events that require volunteers)

* All Committees are always open to new volunteers

* Sunday, August 15, from 3-7 P.M. - The Sioux Empire Fair (our host site) has requested that we occupy the Bridlewood Barn with games, presentations, education and any manner of activity that represents us. We will be visiting with people as well. We need Nobles and Peasants.

* Saturday, August 28th we will be at ArtRocks on stage at 11AM. Anyone willing to present a cutting of Shakespeare, sing, or play an instrument e-mail volunteers@siouxlandrenfest.com ASAP.

* We will be visiting JDC in Sioux Falls on a weekday in August. If you are interested please email volunteers@siouxlandrenfest.com for more information.

* Volunteer Waiver of Liability and Parental Consent form (must accompany any application)


Festival Volunteer Positions

Wine booth
Help with the sales of wine and mead. (Must be 21)

Set-up/ Breakdown
Help with setting up the festival and tear down.

Water wagon / Clean up crew
Help with filling the water stations around the festival, fill patron's water bottles, pick up trash at eating locations if necessary.

Patrons Reatreat
You will be offering to get them food or drink. Answer any questions they may have. (Must be 21)

Floaters
You may be asked to do almost anything as need arises…until then, hang out at your assignment.

Volunteer Check- In
Sign-in volunteers and guide them where to go.

Security
Work the Security/Safety booth (at the main gate check in) … may be ask to patrol the site as needed.

Childrens Area
You will receive specific instructions to help children play the games.

Children’s Ticket Booth
Help with the sale of tickets.

Front Gate
Distributing programs, stamping hands or taking tickets at the front gate, greet the patrons as they come in or hand them an exit survey

Information and Souvenir Booth
Help with taking money and answer any questions the patron may have.

Board Assistant
During the faire runners are needed to do "on call "errands.

Openings on Committee: This is an open committee and all are free to join as a committee member.
